Castings
Comprehensive sourcing expertise across all casting processes
Casting is a versatile manufacturing process allowing for complex geometries that would be difficult or impossible to achieve through other methods. We source cast components from qualified foundries worldwide, ensuring quality control, proper material selection, and adherence to your specifications across sand casting, investment casting, and die casting processes.

Sand Castings
Sand cast components ideal for large, complex geometries with flexibility in size and shape and excellent material options.
- Large component capability
- Complex internal features
- Cost-effective tooling

Investment Castings
Investment cast (lost-wax) components for intricate designs requiring excellent surface finish and tight tolerances with minimal post-machining.
- Exceptional surface finish
- Complex geometries
- Minimal machining required
Sand Casting Capabilities
We offer sand casting options in both Europe and Asia, with manual and fully automated processes to match different requirements.
Europe
| Process | Weight Range | Volume |
|---|---|---|
| Fully Automated | Up to 300 kg | Hundreds to thousands of pieces |
| Manual | 100 kg – 35 t (exceptional cases up to 80 t) | Small to medium series |
Asia
| Process | Weight Range | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Manual | Full weight range | Qualified partners for all sizes |
All suppliers have been vetted and audited according to our quality process.
Investment Casting Capabilities
Our European partners offer fully automated investment casting processes as well as MIM (Metal Injection Molding) for highest precision. For larger single components, we use manual wax pattern manufacturing.
| Process | Weight Range | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Fully Automated (Europe) | 0.5 kg – approx. 30 kg | High volumes, consistent quality |
| MIM (Metal Injection Molding) | Lower weights | Highest precision, complex geometries |
| Manual (Wax Patterns) | Larger components | Single components, custom parts – see case study |
